People who are interested in owning a homecare business have often researched the opportunity at length prior to making contact. However, some similar queries regularly arise.

This is not a problem as I am always more than happy to answer any questions about our franchise opportunity and I would like to share my answers for some of our most commonly asked questions.

Do I need to have experience/skills in care?

No. You do not need to have any skills or experience within the care sector as we will provide you with full training and support. However, you should have an empathy with what we do and understand the importance of providing a high quality care service.

Do I need to know how to run a business?

No. Ideally, we would prefer franchisees’ who have commitment, drive, ambition and enthusiasm for the business. We will assist you to obtain a greater understanding of the care sector.

What is my role in the business?

Heritage Healthcare is flexible about the role within the homecare business that the franchisee will have. Often the main role of the franchisee will be to market and develop the business from the beginning. It may be that you will employ staff further down the line to cover more specific tasks.

What is the growth potential?

Heritage Healthcare has developed its business model in line with modern systems and ideas and to ensure that it captures both current and future markets. The opportunities for growth depend entirely upon you, and how big you want your business to be. As with any franchise, success is due to the hard work and dedication of the franchisee.

Can I run my franchise business from home?

No. It will be a requirement that you have an office located within your franchise territory.

What kind of support can I expect?

We are committed to offering continuing on-going support to all our franchise operations. We will provide hands-on support whenever it is needed.

We provide regular support visits, regular audit & review visits, regional meetings and an annual conference in order to share ideas and experiences.
